Welcome to Ascent. By accessing or purchasing from ascentyourlife.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
About Us
Ascent is a digital product brand operated as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. We design and sell Notion templates and related digital resources for working professionals in demanding careers, beginning with pilots.
Products
All products sold on ascentyourlife.com are digital Notion templates delivered electronically. They are intended for personal use only.
What you receive:
- A welcome PDF containing your unique template access link
- Access to the Notion template via that link
- All updates and improvements to the current version (V1) at no additional cost
What you do NOT receive:
- A physical product
- Ongoing personal coaching or consultation
- Access to future major versions (V2, etc.) unless purchased separately
Licence
When you purchase Ascent, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the template for your own personal and professional purposes.
You may NOT:
- Resell, redistribute, or share the template with others
- Upload the template to public or private template marketplaces
- Modify and resell the template as your own
- Use the template for commercial reselling purposes
- Share access to your duplicated Notion workspace with non-paying users
You MAY:
- Customise the template freely for your own use
- Reference Ascent publicly (with attribution) in reviews or social posts
- Recommend the product to others (we appreciate it)
Ascent retains full intellectual property rights, including copyright, over all content, design, layouts, and written materials within the template.
Delivery
Digital products are delivered automatically by email immediately after purchase. If you do not receive your welcome email within 30 minutes, check your spam folder and contact ascentyourlife@gmail.com.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include any applicable taxes.
We accept payments via:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Shop Pay
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Founding member pricing (£19) is available to the first 100 customers only. Standard pricing applies thereafter.
Refunds
Please see our Refund Policy. In summary: digital products are non-refundable due to their nature, but we resolve all genuine technical issues personally.
Third-Party Services
Ascent runs on Notion, a third-party platform owned by Notion Labs, Inc. You will need a free Notion account to use the product. Notion's terms of service and privacy policy apply to your use of their platform. We are not responsible for changes Notion may make to their service.
Disclaimers
Ascent is a personal organisation and lifestyle tool. It is NOT:
- An operational flight planning system
- A regulatory compliance tool
- A fatigue risk management system
- A substitute for professional financial, medical, or legal advice
Always follow your company procedures, regulatory requirements, and professional judgement. Always consult qualified professionals for medical, legal, financial, or operational decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascent and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the product. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or product after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
